Sam's brother, Nate, gave me the opportunity to take pictures at their wedding. I was way excited but extremely nervous. I had never done anything like this before and there is a lot of pressure considering it is a once in a lifetime thing and if the moment isn't captured then it never will be. I am good at psyching myself out but Nate and Ashley were so laid back that it was a lot of fun. They didn't make me feel like if would be the end of the world if I didn't get the perfect pictures, so thank you guys for that. They are such a cute couple and it was fun to get to know Ashley. I can tell she is going to be an awesome aunt to my girls and I can tell my girls already love her. Lily almost wouldn't leave her alone. She wanted to be as close to the 'princess' as she could all night long. Their reception was darling. Camillia was incharge of the decorating and I was blown away with her awesome and creative ideas. Both Ashley and Nate are big into the outdoors and rock climbing so Camillia made center pieces out of rock with pictures all over them. Instead of signing a book, we all signed these huge rocks with their pictures on them. So creative!!
Camillia also had decorations floating in the pool. They were fun to take pictures of.
This is Lily feeding fake brownies to Ashley at the playhouse.
They had the center pieces on butcher paper with crayons for the kids. So perfect!!
This picture just makes me laugh :)
I love the clouds on this one.
This was actually during the clean up of the reception but I thought it was so beautiful.
I think this last one is so romantic!

roxy, these are unbelievable! i LOVE that you used places around the grounds and different angles that i've never seen any other photographer use. the ones around sanpete have their certain spots and shots that they use, it's fun to see something so different shot from 'my' temple! :)
Your a natural!! :)
Love it!
You are so talented! These look so great!
SO pretty roxy!! hello blue skies!! my goodness, these are just fantastic!
I love the one with "grandma Long"!
It really made me happy to see her for some reason. And she just looks absolutely beautiful.
I know I know, the wedding is about the bride and groom. ha.
You did great. I really love the focus in the hands ones and how greatly placed they are in the full on temple one. Stunning.
So stop doing these before I scare chris off with " buuuut look what great pictures we could have taken by roxy"... haha.
Come do a 'couples' picture for us, curb the urge ;)
Love you , love your work!
Hey Roxy!
Checked out these photos a few times, but have never had the hands-free to leave a proper comment. I still don't (typing one-handed while nursing) but just wanted to at least let you know how FABULOUS these are! Bravo. I'd have you shoot my wedding if I still was in need of that kind of thing. You are especially great at your composition. It's all very aesthetic and flattering to your subjects, creative, with good use of editing tools. And the expressions! Can't say enough about them. Congrats.
