The Henderson's

This is a very sweet family who put a lot of trust in me. They have five kids and that was a huge undertaking for me. I was a little more nervous than usual but it was still a lot of fun getting to know this family. I had them bring grandma along to try to make all 7 of them look and smile at the same time. She was a definite help. I'm still learning so much about my camera that I have a hard time getting everyone's attention and figuring out all the settings for the camera. I was definitely a little stressed and felt so bad cuz I couldn't keep the boys names straight for the life of me, ....but do I know their names now and I love that about taking pictures for people I don't really know. Anyway, thank you Henderson family!

This little girl had the most amazing blue eyes. I didn't do a thing to them with editing, they are just that blue!

Yay for fall!!

I am SO glad I got to go do pictures at least once in the gorgeous fall leaves and the red heads made it just so much better. This family is so much fun! Never has it been so relaxing and just pure fun to simply hang out and take pictures. There was no pressure and everyone was just playing and having fun hiking around.

This is Salix and she is just a few days apart from Lily. They are in the same kindergarten class and they seem to be having a blast together. I'm glad Lily has such a good friend.

So, so sweet!
Notice how they both have the same beautiful blue eyes!

This next picture just makes me smile. I just love the look on Fisher's face. You can tell that in his mind he just knows he can fly.

green eyes and...

Another first. Kendyl let me try taking her seniors and I had a blast. She is so beautiful and I am completely jealous of her gorgeous green eyes. They also knew where this awesome old truck was. I guess people call it 'mater' since he looks just like the truck off Cars. I agree, but i didn't get a good front shot of it.

I love this next shot, from the logo of the truck, down to her darling shoes and no socks.

She is an incredible volleyball player, so we went up to a sand court by the lake and took a few pics. This pictures is my all time favorite! I finally got to go to one of their games. I couldn't believe my eyes. They played like they were from a 5A school or maybe even from a college team. I loved watching them. I'm so proud of you Kendyl and I really hope you like the pictures. Good luck with all that comes next!

Big eyes!

I had a lot of fun taking pictures of this adorable little guy. His eyes are huge and he was so smiley. There is a mechanics shop just down from my house, so we just walked down there and took some pics.

finally!!

Jessica let me do these pictures for her quite awhile ago but I couldn't post them until after the wedding, so here are her bridals, finally! I just want to thank Jessica for letting me do this even though I am just learning. She is so beautiful and her wedding was just gorgeous. I thought their reception was something straight out of the movies. I loved all of their decorations. Anyway, congratulations and I'm glad you are stickin' around here for awhile!

IncREDDibles!

Here are the pictures from our incREDDible reunion. I wanted to put these ones up on this site because I can post them bigger and our family is pretty big. This first picture is my favorite one of my Aunt Julie's awesome tye-dye car. She was so embarrassed that the peace sign was wrong and I was going to fix it in photoshop but I think it adds character :) The rest can be seen on my blog.

Isn't my brother's wife just gorgeous. She is one of the most photogenic people I know!

Mom and Dad. Dad is excited about me getting into photography and is very supportive but hates his picture being taken. That will have to change!

The manly brothers. My dad does look pretty awesome in this picture.

That is a whole lot of REDD! This was a stressful task to organize so many people especially when people are looking to you to tell them what to do when you have no clue yourself. Luckily Maddie was right there helping me. She knows a lot more about this stuff and helped me know what all i was suppose to do. Once again Maddie, thank you so much!

The 2 crazies hanging out in the woods crack me up. Marah and Sam are also pretty hilarious in this picture and that's me dramatizing running back before the timer on the camera goes off. Justin's flip flops on grandpa's head is probably my favorite especially with the look on grandpa's face.

These last pictures are just some of the ones I took while we were out hiking around taking pictures. We found out that thistles don't look like much but are actually quite photogenic.

This silly bird distracted us from 2 deer that were just to the left of us, but ran off as soon as we noticed them.

Mountains top

I got to go to the tip tops of the mountains to take some pictures with some friends. They were good sports and did some off roading to get there. I thought it was a beautiful and interesting spot, with a whole lot of contrast. I really hope they liked it as much as I did. We did some quick couple shots while the 2 year old was still fast asleep.

He is such a cutie and loved being in the mountains. Loved it a little too much, he definitely did not want sit in one spot, but It was fun chasing him around.

I kinda like this shadow picture and also how he is starting to drag his feet. I should've put the picture up where he is really being dragged. He had way too much to explore to be hanging around by his parents.
